Custom t-shirts are more than just a way to dress everyone in your organization on a limited budget. It is a chance to spread a message. An interesting t-shirt can advertise your organization and invite others to learn more about what it is you do. Unfortunately, many organizations miss out on the chance to connect with others by having poorly designed t-shirts. To help you avoid this, here are some factors that could spell disaster for your shirts.

Grammar

Grammatical mistakes will not only drive grammar nerds crazy, but it will make it difficult for others to concentrate on the message you are trying to convey with the t-shirts. Before finalizing your design for the t-shirt, take the time to review the grammar. If there are mistakes, now is the time to catch them.

On the off-chance that you do miss an error, your t-shirt printer should catch it. Most printing services review the shirts for grammatical errors. If an error is detected, the service can make the change for you after receiving your approval.

Alignment

Unless you were aiming for a design that was perfectly centered on the t-shirt, you need to be careful about the placement of the design. If the design is slightly off-center, it will be very noticeable. Depending on the design tools you are using, there might be an option for centering the design automatically.

If there is not an option to do so, the printing service can make the adjustment for you. If you intentionally left the design off-centered, let the printer know to avoid confusion about the intended placement of the design.

Layering

Combining two or more images on your t-shirt is doable, but you have to be smart about the layering. If the layering is incorrect, the image in the forefront will be overshadowed by any images that are behind it. Instead of getting a seamless image for your design, the result could be several images creating one big jumble.

The printing service will likely notice any layering issues that have occurred. Depending on the service you use, corrections to the t-shirt can be made by the printer before the t-shirts are created.

There are other design issues that could leave your organization's t-shirts looking less than perfect. Work with a printing service to identify any possible problems that you have with your current design and to receive help with fixing them. About Me
having labels made for your handmade products

When you begin to sell the things that you make, you can make those handmade items look a little more finished and professional by having labels printed for each item you make. When I started making handmade candles, jellies and bottling the honey from my bees, I wanted to create products that were handmade, but looked professionally finished. The one thing that my items were missing was a perfectly printed label. I designed and started having my labels printed for me and now, everything looks as good as it should when I put it out for display at local sales and festivals.
